Alright, so, I'm kind of excited about getting course cards here in a couple of weeks. I'm such a dork. Like, I'm really kind of looking forward to having Art History AP class next year, along with Psychology/Sociology. Like... I really need to take that psychology class. I will have an aneurysm if I don't have that class. Seriously.
Anyways, school was alright today. Kind of basic, kind of boring... -esque. But, not really. Because I like school.
'Cause I'm a nerd.
Biology - nothing much. Just kind of showed up, did a work packet (that I kind of B.S.-ed... 'cause I wasn't there yesterday, you know?) on meiosis and... yeah. Hunter was being mean to me, and kept swatting me with my own scarf. Kind of silly.
Math - basic, easy stuff. Hooray, I guess.
World History - talked about some U.S. History which was kind of basic and stuff. Hooray. Big test tomorrow over Absolute Monarchy (in Spain, England & France), The Enlightenment, and The Scientific revolution.
Lunch - nothing much. The new girl Chelsea sat with us at lunch. Kind of silly, actually. She's kind of one of those people that randomly spouts nouns amidst ordinary conversation (which didn't bother me at all, oddly), but I dunno. Her company failed to stimulate my interest, I'm afraid. Very sad.
Academic Decathlon - had a math test. Score = 400.4. Not bad for someone who just picked C throughout most of it.
Oral Interp - helped poor Kelsey study for her vocabulary test later in eighth period. She failed terribly, I think. Other than that, though, I performed my intro and teaser for my HI for Mrs. Smith. That was interesting, I guess. Not really, though. Poor Gregarina, he sucks at reviewing vocabulary (might be a reason why Miss Kelsey failed so badly).
Latin - finished test (and got an 85 on it; I'm kind of disappointed with myself), and translated a story. Nothing too interesting, I guess.
English - vocabulary quiz, and we listened to one of the juniors--Angelina (she's in the Guard Varsity too, I believe)-- give a powerpoint presentation on ISM and how everybody should join it for a speech credit. Kind of crappy.
Other than that, I didn't see Ian as much as I really would have liked to. I love that boy to death... I'm going home with him tomorrow, though. That should be pretty snazzy. Probably getting the ugly on, too.
Oh, and I've started a new habit : every time a thought kind of lolls int' mind, I sanction it my writing it on a sticky note and slapping it on the back of my bedroom door. Pretty nifty. A little self-expression, emotional venting, all that good stuff.
And, sadly, I have holes in the heels of my blue-grey knee-hi socks. So sad.
Need to study for my test, finish homework, and then I have a party to go to tonight for the sake of my mom's co-worker Donald (he's really sweet; it's his retirement party)... assuming that my father's plans don't interfere with it. Sad.
Need to read, too. Gotrek & Felix = amazing.
Music: "Window Bird" - Stars
